In the Beginning ...
(Starting a Creative Writing Project)

In this two hour workshop, Sara Francis will present and explain the five steps she takes when starting a writing project. She will go in-depth with each element and provide examples. The participants will be offered opportunities to follow along with exercises and answer questions that will help familiarize themselves with the process. Afterward, SF will hold a Q&A session and an optional book signing.
Adventures with Wobot!

OPTION 1: Meet Wobot and learn all about his adventures! After a book reading, children will do worksheets that match the themes of the book. They will learn how to draw Wobot and be inspired to create their own. (Preschool - 3rd Grade)
OPTION 2: Go on an educational adventure with Sara Francis and Wobot! After a book reading, children will do simple experiments with Wobot to learn more about Newton's 3 Laws of Motion. (2nd - 4th Grade)
